Student Ministry

St. John's works with and supports the Queen's University student let ministry 'The Cranmer Society'. It's an Anglican based ministry that is founded one the Book of Common Prayer that seeks to form and shape young men and woman into followers of Jesus Christ. Evening Prayer followed by theological discussion every Wednesday at 5 p.m. during the Fall and Winter semesters

Discipleship and Life Groups

St John’s offers a variety of engaging learning opportunities such a bible studies, workshops and much, much more. In particular, we offer ‘Life Groups’ where different groups meet to discuss various Christian topics of relevance in peoples’ lives. This is a great opportunity to get to know people and grow in your faith. For more info call Lesley @ 613-542-6464

Children and Youth

You can trust you will find St John's a safe, loving place for your children and youth. They are not only the future of our church but more importantly 'are' our church! Children and youth lessons are regularly offered by the Rector at our 10.30 service. Our youth regularly meet under the direction of our Youth Director, Voila. Come and check us out!

St John’s Food Bank

In our effort to care for the needy in the Portsmouth area and beyond, we offer a ‘Food Bank’ where people can come to collect can and dried food goods. No questions asked! Members of St. John’s provide the food
